Death of Alan Lambert

CSLRA is sad to report the death of long-time Association member Alan Lambert, who passed away at home earlier this week after a short illness. Alan was an enthusiastic supporter of CSLRA’s activities and will be greatly missed. We will update this post when more information is available. The funeral for Alan Lambert will be held this Wednesday, 08/25/21 at 1:00 pm PST. The funeral will be held at Old Saint Mary’s Chapel in the Rocklin Historic Building, located at 5251 Front Street; Rocklin, CA. Masks are required. There will not be a reception due to COVID. Railroads Applaud Bipartisan Infrastructure Vote, Urge House to Follow Senate’s Lead

On August 10, 2021, the Senate voted on a bipartisan basis to advance vital legislation to modernize the nation’s public infrastructure and empower economic growth into the future. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act includes a full five-year surface transportation reauthorization, which was the product of thoughtful, consensus-based negotiations in the Senate Commerce and Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committees.
