September 1 Workshop: CA Supply Chain SUCCESS initiative

On Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 10am-12pm PST, the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA), the Port of Long Beach, and the CSULB Center for International Trade and Transportation (CITT) will host a free webinar about California’s supply chain. The Virtual Workshop will provide a forum for industry, community, and policy makers to refine and prioritize the solutions that will be critical in igniting collaborative discussion and problem-solving. The workshop outcomes will be used to inform the discussion at a follow-up in-person summit for decision makers to identify solutions-driven and mutually agreed upon next steps to resolving them. This workshop will be highly interactive and will be hosted on the online Remo Conference platform, which allows participants to break into small groups for discussions.

For more information, visit the Center for International Trade and Transportation’s (CITT) LinkedIn page. To register for the conference, use this link: https://live.remo.co/…/california-supply-chain…/register .

Survey: MHD Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Project

Recently received from the CA Freight Advisory Committee (CFAC):
Due Sept 30th: West Coast Collaborative Alternative Fuel Funding Survey

To assess customer satisfaction with EPA Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) funding opportunities, and in support of the West Coast Collaborative Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Corridor Coalition (WCC AFICC), WCC AFICC developed a survey that seeks information from eligible grant recipients and sub-recipients on awareness of and satisfaction with DERA grant programs, as well as prospective alternative fuel infrastructure investment needs for medium and heavy-duty (MHD) vehicle and equipment operations in the west. The survey requests information on proposed alternative fuel stations, including funding assistance needs. Submitted data will be used to determine how well existing and proposed grant funding aligns with customer needs for MHD alternative fuel infrastructure investment. We will use this information to evaluate how to improve grant funding resources to better meet the needs of our customers.
